I just wanted to add to Ed's comment. I love large beech tree and the little sharp-lobed hepatica flower. I was intrigued by your mystery flower and I think if you search for hazel alder, corylus avellana, you will find it. The white flower looks like one of those many native honeysuckles, but I have no idea which one. I look forward to next week!
